Sylvia Doris Frolik
12/30/1946 – 1/31/2025

Sylvia was born to Norman and Josephina Christopherson in Fergus Falls, MN. 

She graduated from Mounds View High School in 1964 and married her childhood sweetheart, Gordon, on December 10, 1966.  They had 5 children together and danced their way through 57 years of marriage. 

Sylvia retired from the City of Ramsey in 2008 after a 27-year career.  Sylvia enjoyed traveling to Mexico and Europe, cooking and spending time with her grandchildren.  In retirement Sylvia chummed with her high school friends and served her community as the treasurer for the American Legion Auxiliary in Elk River, MN. 

Sylvia is known as our pillar of strength and will be remembered most for her servant heart and adventurous spirit.  She made every holiday and event exceptional with her delicious homemade meals and her thoughtful gifts. 

Sylvia is preceded in death by her parents, brother Maynard, husband Gordon and son Phillip. 

She is survived by her children; Christopher (Roxanne), Michael (Pamela), Jon (Megan), Jodi (Enrique), 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren, sister, Sonya and brother, Norman. 

Join us to celebrate Syliva’s life at Zion Lutheran Church in Anoka on Friday, February 28 at 11am.  Lunch immediately following the service.  Memorial service will be scheduled on a later date at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery.
