
Bruce Winsor Watson died May 25,2009 at Evergreen Hospice. During the last 4 years of his life, he led the fight against his cancer with determination, insight and compassion for others, while finding beauty and joy in each moment. Bruce grew up in the Twin Cities. He fell in love with Seattle while visiting the World's Fair at age 16 and eventually fulfilled his dream to move there in 1984. Bruce studied at St. Olaf College, the University of Minnesota and he completed his MSW at the Univerisy of Washington. He was a psychotherapist in Bellevue, WA. Bruce loved the outdoors, hiking, flowers, and sunny days.
Bruce is survived by his wife Vicki Sween, his daughter Kate , his son Lee, his ex-wife Karin, his mother, 2 sisters, 1 brother and many other relatives. He was preceded in death by his father.
A bench has been placed in his memory in the Perennial Garden at the Bellevue Botanical Gardens where he rested during his many walks and where you may 'sit with him' now.
