Wayne Robert Walberg, age 59, a resident of Dent, died Aug. 10, 2005, at the Lake Region Hospital in Fergus Falls.

Mass of Christian Burial was held Aug. 15 at the Camp Ripley Chapel in Camp Ripley with Father Leo Moenkedick officiating. Burial was in the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery, north of Little Falls. (Section 11, Site 265)

Wayne was born July 3, 1946, in Siren, WI, to Robert and Margaret (Link) Walberg. He married Marion Trutwin June 21, 1969, at St. Stanislaus Church in Sobieski. He served in the Navy from the 15th of June, 1964 to the 8th of April, 1968.  (RMSN USN Vietnam)

Wayne is survived by his wife Marion Walberg of Dent; daughters Kelly Merriman (Peter) of White Bear Lake, Michelle Jameson (Corey) of Detroit Lakes and Amy Walberg of Milwaukee, WI; three grandchildren; father Robert Walberg (Jean) of St. Petersburg, FL; mother Margaret Veno of Boulder City, NV; and one sister, Susan Fossum (Mike) of Remer.
