Richard served as a SP4in the US Army in Vietnam. His service started the 23rd of September, 1969. He was buried the 29th of November,1982 at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. (T O 3749)
Richard Klein, I remember Richard that he only spoke when he had some intellegent advise for us so called know it alls. When smiled you knew he had something on his mind and was just waiting for the right moment to drop on your head. he joyed his honesty, friendship, and his wit. We lost a lot of good men because of Vietnam for no good reason. I think it was a shame when politians try to run a war from behind a desk and not listen to the Generals tring to get the job done. It was sort of fighting with one hand tied behind your back. I am proud I got to know Richard the short time he was with us. Gods Blessing be Upon YOU!
