Diane S. Ganfield Wilson, age 34, of 5245 Hodgson Rd., Shoreview, died on Aug 5, 1981. Beloved wife of Roger L. Jr (Woodie). Mother of Shawn, Kelly and Ryan. Daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Howard Ganfield of Shoreview. Sister of Mrs. Chris (Mary) Switala of Minneapolis. Missed by all.
My Mom was a true gift. I was only twelve when she left us. Any stories from her alumni good or bad would be a treat for me. Please share. Thank you.

I remember Diane so well...I can still hear her laugh and her giggle. We shared a lot of classes together. What I remember most was her vivacious personality. She was one of the first to wear short skirts ( which was not acceptable to school rules). I remember she was sent home because her skirt was above her knee. We laughed about it and I thought she was pretty cool. It is so sad when someone leaves us so young.
Diane was my idol! She was so full of life and laughter! We used to laugh that a tornado couldn't move her hair, once she sprayed it with her Aqua Net! She shared her life, the good and the bad, with her friends! We all wished we could be just a little bit like her! My heart still aches when I think of the day I found out she died! It was a sad day indeed! ....Karen (Solberg) Solimar

I fondly remember Diane and Woodie from their dating days in HS. We all knew they were destined to be married. What a spirited couple!
