Mike passed away on Feb. 6th, 2012.  He lived with prostate cancer for 9 years and continued to enjoy and love his life until the end.  He retired from the White Bear Lake Police Department in 1998.  In 2006, he and his wife, Cindy, moved to Round Mountain, Texas but still spent summers up at the family cabin on  Lake Vermilion.  He is survived by his wife, a son, 2 daughters, a step-daughter and 6 grandchildren (whom he teased relentlessly).

Mike served in the Army and was stationed for a time in Germany.
